I have a Canon 40D and i need to know some stuff?

I barely bought the camera and was wondering which lenses should i buy and why? i have the one that came with it the 80mm lense. give me some good tips on how to use this camera please.

First try shooting with the lens that came with the camera. See what you like to shoot and determine if the lens you have is lacking in terms of focal length for what you shoot. Is the lens too wide for your needs? Or too distant?

Then, you can decide your next lens purchases based on your needs. If the lens right now is too wide, then purchase a telephoto; too distant, get a wide angle, etc.

Canon don't make an 80mm lens...so I'm wondering which one you really have.
