I have a Canon XTi and was given a Nikon SB600 flash. Will they work together?

  1. You can't use it in TTL mode, but non-TTL auto will work just fine.

    You just need to set the flash unit to "A" mode, dial in your desired aperture and ISO setting on the flash, then expose with the camera set at a corresponding aperture/ISO in either aperture priority or manual mode.

    (non-TTL auto is kind of a drag at first, but it produces results that are quite reasonable in non-demanding lighting situations)


  2. Like Princess said, Canon only works with Canon and Nikon only works with Nikon. I have the Canon 580EX II that I like a lot.

  3. No... Canon only works with Canon... Nikon only works with Nikon... you will need to get a Canon flash. I suggest the Canon Speedlite 430EX or 580EX II.
