Question:

I have a Cleveland hi bore 19 degree 5 wood that always badly hooks left and right. Any tips to hit it str8t?

  1. remember its all in the hips ,

    make sure you do not lift your head, that can really s***w up a shot

    go to your local golf pro , they r always happy to teach and help you out


  2. dont grip the club so tight and maybe shorten your swing if your going too far back it might be hard to get your timing down

  3. position your feet - bend your elbow - let your wrist do the rest

    or get a new wood!

  4. If none of your other shots are doing this......I would presume you are somehow rushing your swing....trying to hit it too hard.  I'd have a Pro watch how you are swinging to confirm this as it is only a guess.  He can offer the corrections pretty quick.  In consistency with any club is frustrating at best....Hope this helps.
