I am at a community college and I dropped one of my classes and switched it with a different one. The class that I drop was more than the one that I picked up. As a result, I was to received $110.00 in a refund to my credit card. However, I decided that I wanted to pick up another class. THe new class costed me 241.00. I paid the college 131 from my credit card because the 110.00 was used to split the cost of my class. When I looked at my credit card statement, it says that I was charged 110, and 131. It has shown that I received a refund from the college of 110. What should I do?? Do i need to go to my school's business office and asked them to remove the refund or what?

  1. Sounds to me like everything's square.  You paid a grand total of 241 for your new class.  You received a rebate of 110 for the class you dropped.

  2. With the information that you gave, the figures add up and there is no need to contact the school's business office. Good luck in school.
