well i'm 13 and i think i like him (more than a grandfather) i mean i know it sounds nasty but i have been having these feelings for men (escipally in my family) for a while now i never really had a dad but my granpa was awalys around someone i could talk to idk what to do ???

Well i have to say ive never heard of that one before....but its okay.If you havent had a father around you then its perfectly normal to choose someone to replace him with as a father figure. However its not natural to "like" your grandpa.He has probably been there when it seemed like no one else was and maybe thats why you are developing a fondness for him.He is your blood: there is liking cousins but not your grandfather. Sweetheart you are 13 yrs old and very confused if you have a crush on your grandfather. Not putting you down because I've never experienced anything like that. I love my family as family and nothing more. I think you might be confusing your love for your grandfather as love for family at least I hope so. It is a known fact that young boys do start to have feelings rather it be for girls or the same s*x. If it helps try to get counseling for what you are going through because this is very serious. Don't be embarressed by talking to an adult, but please don't make the mistake of approaching your grandfather in this fashion, he might not like it and you don't want to lose his respect. you probably just like your grampa a lot, and are trying to put him in the place of a father- that is perfectly understandable since you dont have a dad. if this crush you are talking about is more of a sexual nature, then thats a problem. usually when children have those kinds of feelings about the adults, they have been molested when they were younger-has anything like that ever happened to you? of course, sometimes the memories are blocked. i think you should go to a therapist, and maybe try to find out why you have these feelings, if they are of a sexual nature, you need to figure it out- good luck to you.

I don`t think you ahve "feelings for him".you feel close to him `cause he`s you`re grandpa and dad in the same time and deep down inside you probably long for a dad...just think about it...and look for a pretty little 13 year old girl who would appreciate your foundness of her,rather than your granpa:D
