I have a DECT 6.0 cordless and the "new voice mail" message will not go away! Any ideas?

I have a dect 6.0 cordless phone...it has this voicemail alert poppin up; and eventhough I've heard all d messeges, the alert won't go away. This makes a flash light pop every now and then, and its pretty irritating when you're sleeping at night. Do any of you know, what I can do?!

Delete the messages.

i answered  similar question on here a few weeks ago... but you did not provide the brand or model of your phone...

you need to check the user manual.. there is information on there how to reset or troubleshoot this exact issue...

but before i went too far i would check that there are no voicemails.. if you pick up the phone and there is a stutter dial tone then you need to clear your voicemails.. if there is no stutter dial tone try removing the power from the phone for a few seconds and then plugging it back in (from the electric outlet not the phone jack)

Make sure you arent getting voicemail with your phone service company.  They have a VM service that makes that light go off when you get a VM.  

Its worth check, its a possibility.
