I have a DLink DSL

Question

I have a DLink DSL 302G Modem hard wired via USB Cable then Ethernet Cable to second Computer.I also have a D Link Model DIR 300 Wireless Router.Are these compatable?I thought going wireless would be simple. I have printed off connection instructions and have had the Wirless a couple of times but every time I try and set up I get Traffic on both but I can't connect to the net?
