I have a DR1000 surround power amp made by DiVinci that I want to integrate to my Yamaha 5.1 reciever, how?

the power amp came with 5 impressive speakers and the subs are with the amp.First of I want to know how it rates. The price was in the $2000 range. Second I want to integrate it with my 5.1 yamaha receiver how do i do that?

  1. First question: I don't know. Never heard of DiVinci

    Second question: If the Yamaha has 6 PreOuts for all 6 of the channels, then connect those to the power amp. You won't be using the amplifier section of the Yamaha, but you will be able to utilize its switching capabilities-- which is what I figure is your goal?

    If the Yamaha doesn't have PreOuts, you can use the TapeOut (stereo left/right pair) and connect that to any left/right input on the amp. You would then have to select either a ProLogic surround mode on the amp or a virtual surround mode.
