  1. try to see if it has a scratch on it  try to clean rub on shirt it happen 2 me 2 trust me

  2. clean the lens with a q tip and lens cleaner.

  3. Make sure the disc you're trying to put into your DVD player isn't a data CD/DVD or a pirated DVD since some DVD players don't recognize those.

  4. dvd not compatible with player

  5. Mine did this a couple of months ago. I suggest that you buy a dvd cleaner, you can pick them up at Target or any other store with television appliances. The cleaner is a DVD with a small brush that cleans the disc reader.

  6. Try another disk in the DVD player to see if the problem is with the Player or the DVD itself.  Like Lou said the DVD may just need to be cleaned.

  7. Is it a burnt copy or an original?

Try to clean the bottom of the disc.

There may be scratches on it.

  8. well i have a portable one and if i made the video it won't work

  9. I would make sure you're using a valid DVD. Sometimes with burned copies DVD players cannot read them. Otherwise, I would take it to have it cleaned.

  10. is the disc dirty maybe?

    if so clean it.

or it could be something to do with your dvd player.

  11. Use a VCR

  12. Unplug it and turn it upside down then plug it in again and try to play the disc.
