I have a Garmin Streetpilot c550 GPS?

I need to update a map for my Streetpilot. So I went to garmin.com and tried registtering my streetpilot. but it asks me what date i bought it. I DONT KNOW!!! What should i do? i cant register without it. I dont have the receipt for it, but i know i bought it in 2005 or 2006. And how much does it cost to update my gps map? I live in the in U.S.

Just pick a date, it's probably making sure your update isn't free because you just bought the unit or something similar.

As for cost, I hear they're in the $75 range, but I have nothing concrete to base that on.
