I have a Gateway laptop computer with XP.It originally had 512mbs of memory.I bought 2gigs of memory and installed it. It worked lightening-fast for about one day.Here is what happened:My wife closed up her Dell laptop and then sit the Gateway on top of the Dell to do some work. After about 30 minutes of using the Gateway, it blacked out. No power or anything. I took the new memory out and reinstalled the old memory; still nothing. What should I do?
