I have a German last name, can't find family information about it?

Question

I am very into genealogy, and I've been researching my family's background and have most of the information from my mother's side of the family. I want to find more on my father's great grandparents but I can't find a single genealogy site that has my Maiden name on it unless I've already added it.

Does anyone know a German alternate spelling to "Exl"

I was thinking it could've been Esschul or something. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I have quite a few immigration records on the name Exl. Do you know the names of her parents or grandparents? They all came over between 1896 and 1938. Some were German, others Hungarian. There's quite a bit of information on them.
