  1. first of all, i wouldnt call linkin park posers, as they made alot of money by perfecting what korn couldn't get fans with.  I'm not a big linkin park fan, but theyre good at what they do.  And i know they dont use drop C because I have played in the studio before for bands doing linkin park covers doing both vocals and guitar.

Well for starters you should not have a les paul, if youre not good, but skipping over that I too recomend chanign to standard tunign just becasue thats what most songs are in.  ignoring that, a wah pedal works the same no matter how your guitar is tuned, so just kinda....tilt it....

  2. yea, no les paul (espeically gibson) for beginners. Not fair. give it to me. I have a classic silvertone I'll trade ya for it.

  3. I've got a piece of advice for you:

Tune your guitar in standart or half-step-down tuning - drop C is for posers like Mudvayne, Linkin Park and the shite - real bands like Megadeth use standart tuning.

First learn to play - learn riffs, songs, solos, learn to jam, theory that you need etc. - then you can think of buying a wah pedal because now it's worthless to buy it since you won't be able to use it...wah pedal is used for giving your solos the scream - you can't solo, can you?
