  1. How old is it, if it is the guineas first litter and she is over about 9 months old she will probably need a c section. There pelvic bones fuse around that age if they haven't had babies..

If it is a young guinea then no worries. There babies are born completely haired and with there eyes open unlike other rodents like mice, after about 12 hours they will rpobably nibble at some food as well as nursing from there mom. Good Luck!!

  2. take her to a vet

  3. I don't have Guinea Pigs but friends of ours do and they have had babies before.

It's relatively easy. The mum should be fine, but look up in book and websites and maybe call the vet just to know what to expect.

The babies grow very fast! They'll suckle their mum mostly but they will be eating food after only a few days. Make sure you provide the mum with enough food and water and once the babies are older give the mum a bit of alone time, by taking the babies and just playing with them for a bit. The mum will appreciate it. Once the babies are old enough get them sexed and keep all the boys away from mum and sisters as they will try to mate with them.

  4. I know you didn't breed your pig but read here for some good info:
