The guy at the video store assured me when I bought it that I would be able to edit using any software, for macs and pcs... I am trying on my pc right now, and seemingly can't edit on Premiare for one, wihtout a whole lot of rigmarole and downloading of programs sony hasn't even aproved of to change the file types.....

Apparently you are suposed to be able to use these .m2ts files in Pinical Studio, I have just donwloaded the demo version and it won't read/import these files either....

I have just recently read reveivs that it is extreemly hard, if not near impossible to put these files onto a mac computer (Which I might be purchasing in the future) unless you have xp installed....

Anyone know a simple way I can convert these files or use Pinicall properly? I am so confused.... Can I demand Camera House pay for the damages that I have encured for getting compleate miss information from them? Shame on them, this is terrible....

  1. VCHD Video Converter-a must-have program for Sony, Panasonic, JVC and Hitachi camcorder users to convert the video types: MTS and M2TS movie files. You can get the new video from AVCHD(.mts, .m2ts) to AVI, WMV, MPEG, ASF, VOB, 3GP, RM, RMVB, MKV, FLV, SWF, MOV, MP4, M4V, DV, etc.
