I have gone through the picture seetings but even on WS setting I miss about 2 letters of print on each side on channels like CNN HD and ESPN News HD etc. Can it be adjusted by a repairman? or can I adjust it? or am I out of luck?

  1. Im not sure how yours is, but on my remote their is a button that says ratio, and I just flipped through that until i got the picture size i wanted.

  2. You may have to call a serviceman.  There is a hidden service menu you can reach using special codes, but that information is not available to the public.  In the service menu, the picture width and height can be adjusted.

If you think you can try to fix it yourself, go to the AVS forum

    http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/

search for your set's model number, and see if anyone has posted the service menu access.   I would also suggest you join the forum and post your question there.
