I have a HID light problem?

i just got a car and the left HId light went out. I don't want to drop all the money ona bulb if that is not the problem. Are there any other things i should check or look at that could have caused the light to go out?

some cars have seperate relays for the left and the right bulbs; check the relay and check if the power is coming to the plug which goes to the bulb. if you have power, then the bulb is gone. if you dont have the power, you can have problems with relay or the wires.
