I have a HP computer, with Windows XP,2002. I had Norton Antivirus 2007, via CD, added to my computer. I want to UNinstall the program. Everything seemed to go OK, --then a display that said, Setup error, & started to gather error info.,& transferred it to Symantec, it said. In my add/remove section of the control pannel,---it won't go any further, & freezes the computer. The icon, on the desktop is gone, --but the Norton Antivirus, is still listed on the current programs, on the computer. How do I get it to be GONE completely, & off my computer? I want to go to AOL, as my IP, & to add AVG, Or AVAST!, as my new antivirus,--if I can get this problem resolved. Thank You!
