I have a Hoover power

Question

I have a Hoover power max self propelled vacuum. The belt that goes to the self propelled part keeps slipping off. I've had the belt replaced, but the problem persists.What can be wrong? I've taken it to a Sew N Vac repair, but all he did was replace the belt again. And it still has the same problem.
