I have a JVC miniDV personal video camera, and it keeps saying the lens cap is on?

It says the lens cap is on, and just gives me an all black screen. When I try to record, it records sound, but nothing more. Does anyone know if or how I can fix this?

I have had the camera for only a couple months... So it is really new.

  1. you should take that back to jvc corp or have it shipped...theyll have that fixed for free...thats a "ccd error"..
