I have a JVC tv and can't get channels above 36. I do have Cable.?

  1. either approach some electronics shop..u may get a card dere..which can offer u upto 100 channels.. or.. try switchin the tv...!!


  2. you may want to check the antenna settings and make it is on Cable for Air

  3. Is this a very old TV set?  In the early 1980's cable stopped at channel 36 on a lot of TV sets. Then TV went up to channel 83 and cable to channel 36.

    At that time it was thought that NO one could possibly watch that many channels.

    Since then cable has gone digital and the number of available channels is in the hundreds if not thousands.

    Get a VCR and hook it up and change the channels with that or find an analog cable TV converter box. They are available.
