Question:

I have a KICKER ZX1000.1 mono if i get a 4 ohm sub will it push all 1000 watts?

If i get a 2 ohm will i be able to connect another sub later?

  1. if you get a svc 4ohm then only half 500w

    if you get 4ohm you could add annother one later

    if 2 ohm then you cant add another one later

    the amplifier is 2ohm mono stable not 1 ohm mono stable


  2. You will need either 2, 4ohm DVC subs, or 1, 2ohm DVC sub to make the 1 ohm load that you need to get the most power out of that amp. If you have 2 2ohm subs wired parallel, it will give you a .5 ohm load which is too low. If you wire 2 2ohm subs in series you won't be able to get that 1 ohm load. If you have the $, I personally would go with just 1, 2 ohm sub, and try and get that same amp sub combo (so that you would have two of those amps, and two of whatever subs) later for ridiculous bass.
