I want to hook up the Surround Sound system to my tv so that when i watch tv the sound comes through all the speakers. Can anyone tell me what "function" the surround sound has to be on? (Dvd mode, AV IN mode or Stereo mode) If its suppose to be on the AV IN mode, which setting? matrix, ect? also what should the tv be set on? any special audio setting like RAW ect? Also should i use the red/white audio stereo cables b/c both the tv and dvd surround sound has these plug ins. Please help!

  1. Most of those systems give you DPII Dolby Pro Logic II Digital. Turn on 5.1 for all 5 speakers with the sub woofer active. There should be audo in for RCA jacks. Not seeing your specs would be you may have 3 audio inputs and that's the best way to call it. You can leave the defaults you have for  your TV. Unless you want to turn up the Trebble and Bass.
