I have a Kleb Pneumonia and a Pse. Aeruginose infection in ear. I have MRSA in throat. How bad is this?

I have a Kleb Pneumonia and a Pse. Aeruginose infection in ear. I have MRSA in throat. How bad is this?

  1. You have a serious infecation, I am assuming that your Dr. has put you on antibiotics.  The first 2 should clear up with the antibiotics, the MRSA will take a while.  Keep track of your temperature!!

I agree you should definitely be followed by a doctor and should be on antibiotics.  If this does not start to clear within the next 48-72 hours after beginning antibiotics you need to see your doctor again.  Also the MRSA infection can be brought under control but you will probably always be colonized with the bacteria.  This bacteria is more of a opportunistic organism and only really causes a problem when your immune system has been decreased by other factors.  When this organism becomes a problem though it can be very bad.  Also whenever you get an infection in the future your Doctor needs to be aware that you have had MRSA in the past.
