Hi, it would be a good idea to determine first what kind of spray paint was used, eg if it is a waterbased material such as Acrylic, Vynil or P.V.A. you could use Methylated spirits, for oilbased paints White spirits. It is important to try a small inconspicuous area first just in case. Try to remove it as soon as possible before this spraypaint has a chance to either cure or harden. Plenty of good quality rags would be useful and a good polish afterwards would make your L7 look as good as new. If the paint job has faded somewhat over time then a 'cut and polish may be required. When working with volatile substances make absolutely sure that there are no sources of ignition such as pilot lights and always work in well ventilated areas, Good luck!

If it's covering a large area use a buffer with a medium compound then go over that with a light polish to take out the swirl marks. If it's a small area use an over spray clay. They have them at most major paint stores.Use it with a solution that usually comes with it or a soapy water solution if it doesn't. Make sure you keep kneading the clay because the over spray will build up on it and cause more scratches.If the paint is heavy or thick you might have to sand it.If you do use 1500 grit wet or dry to sand paper with a sanding block to sand down the over spray paint make sure you use a lot of water when your sanding. Sand with long even strokes if you sand in a area to much you will sand through the paint.run your hand over the area to feel if any paint is left  and repeat the process until you are satisfied with the results. Then use the buffer to buff out the scratches. If this is to much take it to a paint shop they should charge any where from $75 to $150 for a buff job depending on where you go.
