I have a LARGE "about the size of a marble" Gem, Its DEEP blue but when wet brightens a bit.What type is this?

The stone is a deep blue, really beautiful, rounded by the river, its definitley a crystal form of a gem, I just dont know what type or types it could possibly be. Its a dark blue and crystaline. I found it In a Virginia river in the rapids panning for gold and other gem stones.

wow that's really cool with the changing colour and all, but to answer your question, its probably just the water magnifying the light traveling into your gem and reflecting off particles in the gem making it a little brighter. hope this helps!
