  1. One possible concern, do you need to contact a local Conservation board or anything before you do that?  I know if you did that where I am without permission you'd get fined and get in huge trouble with the state.

  2. Rocks.  Don't dam anything up - it could destroy the natural habitat and nobody wants to do that!  Take some long walks/hikes at different streams in the area to see how the natural waterfalls are made.  You'll find that it's mostly rocks.  Just make sure to leave enough of the creek open and flowing naturally to keep the habitat alive.

  3. without being there and seeing the slope and everything i can't answer intelligently. i will tell you that unless you own the water rights, which you probably don't own all of it, changing the natural flow of a waterway is illegal. be careful.

  4. contact a local landscaping company

  5. Get a truckload of rock.

  6. Check with your county!

I`m quite certain they`ll give you a big "Thumbs Down"

These creeks and streams are for natural runoff. If impeded, you`re simply asking for trouble once you get that big gulley washer that will inevidibly come upon completion of this illadvised project.
