I have a Lime Tree that has not grown any fruit for 3 years and has Large Thorns on it. Help Please

I had the Plant in a Pot for 2 years and got some fruit off it, then put it in the ground, it has then grown to about 6 feet tall but no fruit.

  1. Those big, thick thorny branches it's growing are called suckers. The tree is putting all it's energy into making all that wood and leaf. It just needs a radical pruning. The link below is to a great website for a citrus grower, great info.


  2. it might be just making root as its been in a pot for a time and been restricted. try some citrus plant feed every ten days
