I have a Logitech 2.1 sound system for gaming (xbox360 and ps3).Does it make a big difference if i buy 5.1 ?

I am very happy with my Logitech 230 2.1 sound system but i wanna know if i am missing a complling oppurtunity to have 5.1 surrunding system.

It is worth the money ?

5.1 channel surround sound is definitely worth the money the sound of everything from your games to your music files becomes more crisp and their quality also increases.
