I have a Mac OS X version 10.5.2 and I am wondering if it could have a virus?

how can I find out because it is running slowly... I have 185 some gb available on my hard drive so I know it isn't that and everytime I open the internet I it is very slow and often something pops up and says warning u may have a virus.... what can i do for a mac

take it to the geek squad they'll fix it up

yes it can just like any other pc you can use a soft ware to get rid of it but there is no soft ware out there
