I have a Magnavox MWR-10D6 dvd recorder..What can i use to bypass the copyright law in recording?

It is not a computer dvdburner....it is one for my tv.

  1. Hi rkbouncer,

    If you are making backups of your own material it is legal to do.

    You will need a device like "Sima T120 GoDVD". It removes the copy guard and enhances the picture. You plug your source into it and plug it into the input of your recorder.

  2. I have the same problem with my Sony not allowing

    me to record copyrighted material to the DVD.

    But, it will allow me to record it on the VHS side.

    But, once it's recorded to the VHS it will not dub

    from the VHS to DVD.

    Really torques my jaw too.  Copyright is copyright so

    why should I be able to record to VHS?  

    I have asked the guys at a local TV repair shop and they

    say they haven't a clue as to how to bypass it.
