I have a Maytag epic z, and it won't let me wash. It keeps on saying F-01, I tried cutting off the power.

Cutting off the power didn't work, I need ways to fix it without calling in a technician. I had recently put in too much detergent, but I didn't wanna open the door cause then all the water would fall out, and it actually all started when I forgot to put a pair of socks in, I paused it to put it in but out came all the foam, and water. Then it started not working, and giving me the F-01.

Put in a new pc board $161.00 takes 15 minutes to put in take top off it is on the right side white box 6 inches by six inches computer brain just replaced my wife's easy fix, all it would do is flash F01

read paper inside bottom mettle kick plate take it off with three screws paper is inside of kick plate tells your codes F01 is CPU board replaced my wife's works good now Thanks
