Question:

I have a Mini Bike with a 2-Cycle engine, but i dont know the fuel to oil ratio?

Its a 50cc i think and i bought it from a cousin and he doesn't have the manual anymore, does anybody know wat the ratio is or have a suggestion, ANYTHING?

  1. when you walk into  a shop and do  pick your  oil you wish to buy on the back it tells you ever ratio  of oil to fuel...all oils are diffrent  just make sure its 2 stroke mixing oil on buy your oil of choice...i mix mine  in a 2-3 litre bottle.never leave it around with the kids....any question type in on the net

Any decent lawnmower shop that has a repair shop should be able to I.D. the engine in that bike.  They should be able to order a repair manual, providing that it wasn't built in the 1940's.  I've been told that a mix of 32:1 or 40: is a good starting point for most older 2-strokes.  The newer models are a little more efficient and have a better lubrications system, so they can get away with 50 or sometimes 100:1

  3. If you find something go for a higher mix of oil to gas, if you don't have enough your piston will seize. too much and it will smoke, which isn't bad compared to seizing your piston
