I have a n**i medallion that says"wintershclacht Imosten 1942/42" it has an eagle on the front..what is this?

The top of the medallion is in the shape of a German gestapo helmet and under the ealgle it has a swastika. It is about the size of a silver dollar, maybe a little bigger and it is some kind of dark metal. I am also wondering if this medallion has any value

Winter (or Russian) Campaign Medal awarded to German soldiers that participated in the eastern front campaign in the winter of 1941-42. The inscription on the back reads “WINTERSCHLACHT IMOSTEN 1941/42.
