  1. Before sending it for repair, you might want to check what mode it's in.  Some modes disable the flash.


  2. You need to contact the manufacture and set up a repair. this seems to be a common problem with that cam. its not something you are doing or not doing its the cam itself

    You might be able to get it to work but it will eventually go out all togeather
