I can't seem to find anything that would fit both my camera and lenses as well as some hiking equipment. I'm in the price range of $20-$60.

  1. To get a good back pack that is designed for cameras, like Lowepro, Domke and Tamrac, you are going to pay a little more than $60.  I will attach the link that shows camera backpack prices. If you need to keep it at 60 bucks or lower, get a regular back pack and put some of your hiking equipment there plus put some towels or foam around the camera and lenses to keep it safe from damage.

You can try a Adorama Mary Farace Daypack Backpack holds a Digital SLR with a 50-200mm Lens plus Accessories, it sells for around $50.

  2. Don't know a whole lot about hiking equipment.  But I would recommend having a case for the camera & the lens -- whether you carry it separately or inside the day pack. You don't want dirt getting into them.

  3. I was in Best Buy yesterday, and saw some back packs for cameras, but didn't notice the prices.   They did look like something you could use, but may be more than $60.
