How do I get rid of the menu on the display each time I take a photo? It shows all the settings used to take the photo. I can not see the photo I just took.

  1. on the rocker switch on the back of the camera - the one you use to forward through your pictures - if you push up and down this will change the display on the screen.  You should have about three settings with information displays and one without any information.  scroll though until you get rid of the information displays.

N.B.  on my Nikon D200 its up and down on the rocker switch to change the display on my D70 its left and right if the up and down doesn't change the display, try left and right.

  2. keep hitting the selector switch until its gone

  3. press the info button

  4. Use the 4-way controller on the back of the camera (that's the controller around the OK button) to go through the display options during playback.  In addition to seeing the photo with settings, you can also select a view with just the photo.

  5. use the four way button on the outer edge of the " ok " button, press the down button, and it'll go back, not big problem
