I have a Nikon F65 and I'm wondering.....?

If I buy a Nikon D40, will I be able to put the digital camera's lens onto my film Nikon vice versa? Or h**l no? Can I buy a lens that is compatible with a digital and film Nikon?

Many of the lenses designed for the 35mm film cameras will work on the D40. But most of them will not support the autofocus function. The D80 will provide autofocus support for a much broader set of lenses.
