I have a Palm Centro that I just got and I am trying to Connect it to my samsung Bluetooth headset..?

But the Palm cannot find the headset when it is searching. any suggestions?

Read your manual for the headset and look for how to turn discoverable mode on.  Bluetooth devices 'hide' themselves by default unless you make them discoverable.

Once you have turned on discoverable mode on your headset, your Centro should be able to find it.  Then just follow the directions to pair them up.  Once they have been paired up, you don't have to go through the discoverable mode hassle ever again.
