I have a Panasonic Tv 32" Model CT-32D32F the remote quit working about a month ago. Universal remotes don't work either. I contacted Panasonic and they told me to reset the tv by holding the action button and the power button, until a screen came up for some kind of test. It said that everything was good. They also told me to reset the remote, by taking the batteries out and pushing every button on the remote at leaste once. It didn't work either. Do you have any suggestions? I think the remote sensor has gone out maybe on the tv? is that expensive to replace?

  1. If you tried a universal remote and it didn't work make sure you got the right code for the tv.  They are extremely particular about this.  I would check that code first, the sensor's on tvs rarely go bad, but yes depending on where you go it could cost you almost the same amount as a new tv.  If you got a tech buddy then its not that hard to uninstall and reinstall a new sensor

  2. You can buy a new remote and try that
