I have a Panasonic video camera that is not connecting to my computer. I have it put on 'PC mode', connected with a USB cable (http://www.shoplet.com/office/limages/EB022929.gif). I try and connect in Windows Movie maker, and an error comes up. It works fine on a computer at a friend's house. Help..?

  1. You most likely need a USB driver for the camera in order for the computer to recognize it. For whatever reason, your friend's computer has the necessary driver installed.

Your camera probably came with some software on CD-ROMs. See if those contain the USB driver. Otherwise, you can probably find the driver you need on the Panasonic web site.
