I have a Pfaff 1473CD sewing machine. I've spent so much time trying to find out for how much one might sell.

Used sewing machines, even a good one like yours, don't sell for much of anything.  I'd check my local Craig's list and see if there are any listed.  You could also go to a Pfaff dealer and see if they have any used models for sale, just to get an idea.

The Pfaff 1469, 1471, and 1473 tend to do fairly well on Ebay.  Seen them go between $150 to $400 or so depending on condition and accessories.
