I have a Phillips DVD Home Theater System HTS3565D/37, I have no sound from the speakers while watching TV(AUX

I need assistance with the sound. My DVD plays fine, but when I watch TV i have to use the TV volume. I really want to use the speakers surround sound in aux. Need help please. My TV is also Phillips HDTV LCD 52"

  1. Here's what will have to do.

    1. Connect your cable box or satellite box to your tv with the correct audio and video cables.

    2. Next connect a audio cable(s) in the (audio out port) from your TV going to your (audio In) on the Home Theater System.

    3. Your Tv should have a setting in the menus under audio that enables you to turn off your internal speakers on your tv and enable audio out from your TV.  

    4. Set your volume up on your cable box.

    5. Make sure your Home Theater system is set to AUX or something similar.
