The head unit is a pioneer deh-p4000ub and i wired it myself correctly collor coated. i used the adapter that i had to buy to install. the only thing that is not connected is the blue wire from the adapter but, it has nothing to connect to. but there is no sound. i can turn the sound k**b but, the sound does not come out of the speakers at all. does this mean that the head unit is messed up or did i do something wrong?

  1. I highly doubt it is your head unit most likely it is just your wiring is messed up its hard to say though.  Check your colors of wires.

  2. I'm a big "do it yourselfer" too but sometimes it's best to leave stuff like that up to a professional. It may cost a lil bit extra, but at least you know it's done right and if anything messes up, it's on them and they'll fix it.

  3. where u connect  the blue wire (remote)or blue/white wire(antenna)? u got amp?and  where u connect the speaker wire (front/rear)?can let me more about there or u can take photo send for me.don"t  worry, i am full time accessories
