I have a psp which is v3.90 m33.

I just reflashed it 4 days ago because i accidentely deleted the files in the flash0 file...I reflashed it to v3.71 m33 and updated it ti v3.90 m33!!

It's working fine but whenever i charge it the battery gets really hot and when i get close up on the psp i can hear some noise !!

What should i do ???? Is it normal for a psp battery to get hot when charging??? and where can i buy i new battery from if this one won't work anymore ???

I live in Egypt

  1. I also am on 3.90 m33 and have flashed using Pandora's battery several times. My battery seems to normally get warm when charging or after extended play. Not HOT, mind you, but definitely warm. I think it's totally normal, and I wouldn't worry about it. As far as the noise, I think you're just hearing the hum of the little 333mhz processor working it's tail off for all your custom software. Not a problem, and the truth is that your PSP might have made that noise before, but you didn't notice it until you freaked out about the battery. I wouldn't worry about that either, my PSP has made a very faint whine for a about a year and still works fine.

If worse comes to worse, you can find a new battery online. I bought a battery on Amazon and I know you can find them on eBay as well. Whatever you do, don't go to GameStop!!! (if you have those in Egypt) They rip you off like a BandAid. Obviously, stores like Wal-Mart and Best Buy will carry batteries too. Good luck! Feel free to ask for help with any PSP hacking needs!
