I have changed out the t-stat and the fan relay. It still runs. It's set on auto. The condensing unit cycles at specified temp.,no problem there. It also seems that the fan is blowing as if the heater is running(at a lower speed). Every thing is clean(a-coils, cond. coils, filter, etc.) I'm hoping that its not in the control board inside the furnace but I'm thinking that is all that is left. Can someone please give me some insight. Much appreciated.

  1. Your furnace may or may not have a fan switch mounted on the face of the furnace.  Some of these fan switches have a manual or auto setting.  This usually gets switched by accident.

  2. Some furnaces do have a control board. And on that board is an automotive (Type) fuse. It is plugged into the board. Turn the power of and find the fuse (usually 5 amperes) if this fuse is bad.. one of the symptoms is a fan that runs continuously. Purchase one from a A/C Refrigeration supply house

  3. Take your time and follow the schematic. You don't want to replace anything else needlessly. It's probably the board but make sure. That board is around 100$.
