  1. By chance, do you know the history of the scarf as it relates to your family and not the actual scarfmaker.  Where did your gmother get it?  Why was she there? Did she wear it often or just on special occasions?  

    If these (and more) questions can be answered about your personal history as well as the scarfmaker's history, the stronger your price is for the item.  

    I don't see it listed on any of the antique sites or general Google search engines that I list with.  I agree that local antiques dealers would be able to help you a bit better as 99% of them that I've visited always have their own reference library for quick reference.  Try different dealers as each carry different books.


  2. What are you asking?  What it is worth?  Where to sell it?  How old it is?

    It is worth what ever someone is willing to pay for it.  Go to a antique dealer.  They have many books.  The books have photos of other scarfs and wears and where they were made.  They might have what you are asking for.
