I have a S10 Blazer 2001. I need to get into the back and it won't open with the key or with the remote.

The book says to remove the carpeting and there is a hole but there is no hole.

Go to a used car dealer and find a blazer like yours. Open the hatch and look how you have to push a screwdriver from inside to open hatch. Then go and buy $50.00 plastic part for inside tailgate that opens hatch. Good-luck.
