  1. If it's an older TV, with an ATSC tuner (It must be ATSC) you should be able to get a picture from your local networks, but you have to know where their digital channel is hiding.

    In my area, Greater Los Angeles, CBS for example is on channel 2. Digital CBS is on channel 60. Newer HDTVs will display channel 60 while showing the familiar channel 2 on the display, but you would probably have to tune to channel 60.

  2. You may have to go into your menu and do a channel scan.

  3. Check to make sure there is a digital broadcaster in your area. The signal will probably tune into one of your a/v channels and not your usual channels.

  4. Maybe you are not pointing to the correct direction.

    Point to the right direction - Start a new channel scan and if the signal is strong enough for your antenna you should get some channels. Dig. channels are in 9.1 9.2 7.1, etc..
