I have a SONY HDR HC9 camera and I was wondering if there is anyway besides firewire and to import my videos?

This is because the usb seems to do nothing, sony vegas wont pick it up

  1. The USB connection is for stills.  If your PC hasn't already got one you'll need to install a firewire card. They're cheap, easy to install and readily available. You'll also need a firewire cable.
